This week on Pinterest

Oh Pinterest.  how i love you.  I've been trying to reorganize my boards... they're a little out of hand.  It's taking me FOREVER though because I have to edit one pin at a time.  Totally lame.  So, word to the wise- organize as you go!

This week on Pinterest

SOOO CUTE!!  And you can buy those vases at the dollar store for cryin' out loud!

HEALTHY frozen slow cooker meals.  Here's the thing.  When Brian and I were going to school we did the frozen meals.  It was a life saver.  And now, with two kids, I'm thinking that going back to the freezer meals even just twice a week would be so great.  Relieve some stress!  This website has a ton of great recipes for healthy freezer to slow cooker meals.  It's awesome, you've got to check it out!

This needs to go on a who knew post!  I actually tried this and it totally works.  Way excited!

This room is a little too eclectic for me but I am totally loving the dresser.  You pick your gradient colors from a color swatch, buy samples of each color and paint the drawers!  LOVE!

Oreo Pops.  Why didn't I think of this?!

Great Easter tradition!  Buy magic jelly beans, plant them in your yard with your kids and on Easter they've sprouted into huge lollipops!

I want this room.  But it would look a mess with my beautiful children's in it. ha!

Seriously.  WHY have I not thought of this?  All those shirts I forgot were in the washer could have been saved

I actually tried this recipe over the weekend.  Tried and True.

6 Street Design School.  The blog is amazing and I'm learning so many new things.  I had to pin this bookshelf.  I think it would help those little fingers put the books away much easier than a normal standing shelf where gravity gets in the way!

Wrapping paper as a table runner.  Really?

Awesome hairstyle.  Oh wait.  That's mine!

FYI, I'm going to start posting pictures of me and some new hairstyles here in the near future.  Tutorials and all.  I'm thinking a new style once a week.  I know that's what you want, it's just soooo time consuming!  Once a week.  I think I can manage that.  What do you think?  Guess we'll really see who reads these posts haha!

Seriously I can't decide what pins to post on the blog.  I love them all.  So much inspiration.  And to those men who say it's a big waste of time- I say it's better than fantasy football!

  1. Oh, I know. I love Pintrest!!! I am always smacking my forehead when I see them, "DUH!!! Why didn't I think of that!?!" And I am totally wishing I had Pintrest when I was planning my wedding. It would have been SOOOO much easier! Sigh. :) I know what you mean about the hairstyles. Blogging can be really frustrating...sometimes you almost feel like you're being used, ya know? Like, you spend all this time and effort into your posts, nobody leaves comments, but then WOAH, you find the pictures all over Pintrest so part of you is like, "Well, I'm glad people actually like them." And the other part of you is like, is it really so hard to leave a quick comment like, "That's rad!"...a little something for your effort? Almost like tipping your waitress! Hahah. And there will be a few posts that really take off and you get all kinds of followers...and then you keep posting and you get nada. And you're like, "why am I doing even this???"....and I'm totally rambling. :) Anyhew, I love your blog...and have a FABULOUS day! :)

  4. I hate stinky towels! I think I always forget them in the washer. Lol. I add 1/2 c of Borax to my detergent and my towels smell great now!

  5. couple things - I tried that mascara solution and hallelujah it worked! I was so excited. The oreo pops- we ended up using popsicle sticks. The lollipop ones were so thick that the cookies cracked and came apart. I even used double stuf, maybe go with the triple! They still broke with the popsicle sticks, but not as much. Thank goodness for the candy topping to hold it all together! Pinterest is Amazing.

Thanks, I really appreciate how easy you make hair, it has transformed my life...seriously!
